Momentum has continued beyond the summer months. Across the stations analysed, autumn footfall increased from 182.8 million visits in 2024 to 189.6 million visits in 2025, with 17 of the 19 locations recording year-on-year growth. Based on this trend, autumn 2026 footfall is forecast to reach approximately 197 million visits, providing brands with another strong trading period ahead.
For occupiers, these figures point to a consistent and growing flow of potential customers across some of the UK’s most connected destinations. Whether your ambition is to launch in a new market, increase brand visibility or drive revenue growth, station retail continues to offer access to large, diverse audiences travelling, working, shopping and spending throughout the day.
With almost 200 million customer visits forecast this autumn alone, Britain’s stations remain one of the most effective environments for brands looking to connect with customers at scale.
