Location Description:

West Drayton is in the London Borough of Hillingdon close to the borders of South Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. The location is excellent being 20 miles west of Central London and 3 miles west of Uxbridge. Junction 4 of the M4 motorway lies 2 miles to the south and gives access to the M25 at junction 15.

Trains have to reverse in and arrive from the Reading direction.
Train paths need to be agreed with Freightliner Heavy Haul, who use the same siding, as two trains cannot be on site at the same time. Consideration may be given in the future to longer trains but this requires the use of the Network Rail siding and additional shunting.
No working hour restrictions are in place but we are aware that unloading by grab is capable of creating a statutory nuisance, therefore, this will be prohibited between the hours of 11pm and 7am.
No aggregate handling or similar operation will be permitted until a suitable dust suppression system is installed.
