Duck World Pop-up

So, what’s Duck Depot?

“Duck Depot, our beloved pop-up shop at Liverpool Street station, brings the whimsical world of Duck World to life,” said Irene Featherlight, co-founder of Duck World.

“Launched in November, it’s set to delight commuters, tourists, and gift-seekers until June. The location is ideal for those entering or leaving London and locals seeking unique, fun gifts. Duck Depot offers a wide range of rubber ducks, from classic designs to limited editions, perfect for every occasion.”

Why was a pop-up right for your business?

“A pop-up was the perfect venture for Duck World for several reasons. Firstly, it allowed us to physically showcase our diverse and quirky rubber duck collection, making it tangible for our customers. Secondly, it provided us with the flexibility to reach different audiences and gauge interest in various locations without the commitment of a permanent storefront. Liverpool Street station, with its blend of tourists and local shoppers, was an ideal choice to introduce our brand in a dynamic and engaging way.”

The constant flow of commuters and tourists means every day brings new faces and opportunities to spread joy with our rubber ducks. It’s thrilling to see the surprise and delight on people’s faces as they discover our pop-up in such an unexpected place.”

It’s so unique that there’s a bathtub at the pop-up! Why is this kind of set-up good for attracting customers, and what have people have had to say about it?

“Yes, the rumours are true! We installed a giant, freestanding bathtub filled with ball pit balls and rubber ducks at Duck Depot. This playful setup not only showcases our product in its natural habitat but also serves as an interactive photo opportunity for visitors.

“It’s proven to be a fantastic way to attract customers, sparking curiosity and drawing them into the pop-up. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with visitors sharing their delightful photos on social media, further spreading the word about Duck Depot.
